Migrant Hub Scarborough

About us

Rooted in Scarborough, open to everyone starting over.

Migrant Hub Scarborough was incorporated in 2025 under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. We provide free settlement and support services to low-income migrants, refugees and newcomers, delivered directly in East Scarborough.

What we exist to do

  1. 1Relieve poverty through settlement and employment-readiness services.
  2. 2Advance education through free workshops, information sessions and life-skills training.
  3. 3Promote community development and social inclusion through safe spaces for networking, mentorship and peer support.
  4. 4Support newcomer integration by helping immigrants and refugees navigate public services.
  5. 5Improve access to opportunity through referrals to employment programs, internships and volunteer placements.
  6. 6Benefit the wider community by working with public institutions, shelters and community organizations to address systemic barriers.
